You'll note that some members have a name pop up when you mouse over them. In the cases it's a regular name, that's how they are called in guild chat. In the cases it's a Maple IGN, these are additional chars connected to the listed main.
This is done with an HTML command called ALT, and was used back in the days of text-based browsers to tell folks what the picture would be if they could see it. It's occasionally used to give information in addition to the picture; which is how it's used here. If you use Internet Explorer or most other browsers, the names should pop right up as intended.
